signs: Vo's

Vo's

On the edge of Uptown is Vo's Restaurant, serving up Vietnamese fusion food, and on Friday nights, live jazz. A newer sign, but I like the design incorporating a V that looks like chopsticks.

I miss their old sign. You can see it as it was when that location was still the Heinz Restaurant and Lounge in this photo:

When they renamed it to Vo's they kept the old sign for quite a while, just changing the words on the sign.

Don't know if that Heinz was related to the condiment company, but the sign was shaped kinda like an upside-down ketchup label.
